Arch support was very prominent to the point that it was painful. Besides that, my toes were squished. There was a big gap between the top of the boot and my leg.

I did not realize these were faux leather. That material is really horrible for shoes – it wears down in a very unattractive way. Zappos should really make it clearer what material they are selling.

I’ve been trying to find a good simple black boot for some time and these are doing the trick. The left boot is a bit snug compared to the right, but I’m guessing that’s me and not the boot. My calves are right under 16” circumference and these fit perfectly. I’ve got a little wiggle room, could probably wear jeans under it!
